Heli-rescue Service (Tel. 118)

Thanks to a convention between the Aero Club Torino and the Piedmont Regional Council, the "118" Helicopter Rescue Service, using Agusta-Westland 139 helicopters is operational during airport hours. Canine, alpine and speleologic rescue crews form part of the service, which averages 3-4 call-outs per day.

Daffi Falcon

 

The Daffi Falcon (Defence, Ambiental, Forests and Fiumi (Rivers) of Italy) is a non-profit organisation whose mission id the protection of the environment, territorial defence and the promotion of flying activities, especially with regard to the weaker elements od the population, such as children with long-term illnesses. The association's C-172 aircraft carries out anti-fire surveillance within the Cozi Alpson behalf of the Piedmont Region.
